Guernsey Post Alderney & Burhou Stamps
We were delighted to be asked to design this new set of stamps for Guernsey Post which were issued on February 1st 2017. The stamps depict, for the first time, Roger Warren's Channel Island Archipelago Sheet of Alderney & Burhou, 1st Edition, 60 years after it was first published. We designed a set of six stamps, a miniature sheet, selvedge sheets, first day covers, presentation packs and a cancellation stamp. It was fantastic to work with such a beautifully illustrated map which is a credit to the 3,000 hours Roger spent painstakingly compiling and personalising his drawings.
