Ladies' College ILEX 2012
Each year we produce the Ilex brochure for the Ladies' College, based on the events and achievements of their academic year. As a continuation from last year the front cover uses the number of the year to identify the edition but in a very different style. We sourced and photographed badges worn by pupils at the school to give the front cover a more personal and tactile feel, a look continued through out the publication with the design of the section headers and page numbers. This year we also gave the layout a bit of a refresh by moving the page information to the outer edge, underpinned by colour coded bars. We have also introduced large pullout quotes to give the Ilex more of a magazine editorial look, which tied in with the girls decision to write catchy headlines and article by lines for the sections and articles.
